Lifestyle photo session in Marseille
Last summer, I had the privilege of organizing a fashion photo session in the vibrant streets of Marseille. What made this particular shoot special was our decision to use only natural light, allowing us to play with shades and lights to create beautifully outlined portraits.

Agency: Enjoy Models Marseille
Place: Mucem
Leaving in Marseille for the last three years, I know as a fact that those streets provided the perfect backdrop for our fashion shoot. Around the MUCEM (Museum of Civilizations of Europe and the Mediterranean, that I highly recommend by the way!) offered a unique and dynamic setting that added character to each photograph.
We carefully selected our first locations, taking into account the direction and intensity of the natural light.
The interplay between light and shadow added a touch of drama and elegance to each shot.
With street portraits, each element contributed to the overall aesthetic of the photos. By positioning the models against specific backdrops, we are able to create visually striking images that showcased both the lifestyle idea behind the shoot and the urban environment.
The secret is to work closely with the models, giving them the freedom to express themselves and allowing their personalities to shine.
The use of backdrops & textures in lifestyle photography
We also made use of the different textures and surfaces found in the alleys of MUCEM. The natural light and modern backdrops served as a perfect complement, illuminating the features of the model and capturing her beauty

When evening progressed, the changing light created a magical atmosphere. The golden hour provided a soft, warm glow that bathed the walls around the MUCEM in warm tones. and soft light. It was during this time that I was able to capturee some of my favorite images of the entire session.
With the combination of the models' striking poses, the vibrant environment, and the interplay of light and shadow. I was able to create a series of outlined portraits
